price of operating one car, you can purchase a year's supply of adult bus passes for 13 people!
The Institution of Mechanical Engineers estimates that by 2050, over half the world's energy
supply is expected to come from renewable sources. Electricity, as the most versatile energy form, will play
an increasing role in meeting the world's energy requirements, including those in transportation.
Alberta may have abundant oil, but declining reserves around the world will force prices steadily upwards.
Petroleum-based private transportation is destined to become increasingly expensive.
