Energy Facts [2 of 4]

By about 2012, the world petroleum supply will have peaked. There will be no major new oil finds, and oil production will begin to decline steadily. The cost of petroleum products like gasoline, diesel fuel, home heating oil will rise drastically in comparison with today's prices. The decline in petroleum resources will be coupled with a rising demand for energy. Commuting with privately owned automobiles is destined to become very expensive.
